We are starting a new series called Song of the Month. Here we will feature a song and the sheet music, videos, articles, etc. that we have to offer for that song. Like this month, we will also sometimes have specials for the hymn we feature for the month (find more about that below)! Our song of the month for February is Come Thou Fount, a hymn that was written more than 260 years ago in 1758. Despite its age, this song has provided encouragement to many Christians through the years and is still a favorite of many today.
About the Arrangement
This was one of my first arrangements and I wanted to give it a more unique and modern feel while keeping a smooth rhythm and calming sound. It was actually the very first song I ever posted on YouTube and it was included on my first CD, Until Then. You can see a little bit about how I made this arrangement with the help of Josh Singletary in this video:
Sheet Music & Background Track
The advanced sheet music for Come Thou Fount can be found on our website here. It is also available in our piano solo book Until Then, available in both print and digital formats.
We also have a background track (produced by Josh Singletary) available for Come Thou Fount, which you can find at this link or in the sheet music description. It can be played without the track however, as you can see in the following video.
For the month of February, if you purchase the individual digital sheet music for Come Thou Fount, we will give you the background track for FREE! All you have to do is add the sheet music to your cart and the background track will be automatically added. This special expires at midnight on February 28th, 2026.
