I would like to share some piano solo sheet music and piano recordings we have available that work well for use in memorial or funeral services. Whether you are directing a service or are a pianist for a service, I hope these resources can be a source of encouragement for you and the family that you are serving.

Sheet Music for Pianists

First, if you are a pianist, I want to share some peaceful piano hymn sheet music. When I play for services, I most often use sheet music from my late intermediate Hymns of Hope and Peace series. The reason I use this series is that these particular songs are good for the prelude and postlude since they are softer and not distracting. The songs in this series can also be played back to back, resulting in one continuous prelude without stopping between songs. Piano Recordings for Background Music

If you are looking for music you can play as background music during a service, I would suggest our Hymns of Hope and Peace hour-long piano solo albums. Each Hymns of Hope and Peace album is one full hour of peaceful piano hymns and all three volumes in the series are available on any digital streaming platform. If you would like to stream the music without any ads in between the songs, you can use the hour-long videos below from our YouTube channel. The only time you an ad could play on these videos (if you do not have YouTube Red) is at the beginning and/or end of each video. In the future, I hope to combine these three videos into one so that the entire series can play for three hours continuously without any ads. This series is also available on CD here.
