Brethren, We Have Met to Worship is a wonderful hymn that speaks of the community of believers within the church and the outreach we should have together to the lost. It reminds us to pray, preach to, and help those who are yet unsaved. This is an urgent call to the church to obey the Great Commission!

About the Arrangement

The music for this hymn lends itself well to a more upbeat theme or unique style, so I decided to give this arrangement a soulful feel. This coupled with the slower than usual tempo can help the listener give thought to the lyrics as they are not moving by so quickly. Though it wasn't my original intention, I hope that this style lends itself to the call found within the hymn's in the lyrics!
